I am broadly interested in understanding patterns and processes influencing ecological communities. My current research involves understanding spatial and temporal factors that affect avian communities in northeastern temperate forest ecosystem. In collaboration with Northeast Temperate Network of National Park Service, I am also investigating how we can integrate Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) with traditional bird surveys to improve long-term monitoring programs of avian communities.
