Research Interests
I am interested in the relationship between forest structure and function. My research focuses on New England forests using field research, remote sensing and simulation modelling approaches. Specific interests include: disturbance ecology, climate change, forest structural development, the role human land-use plays in altering forests, carbon storage, and the connections between forests and streams.
