SUMMARY:Explore With a Naturalist: Experimental Forest Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Brendan Leonardi\, Hubbard Brook Research Foundation Program and Education Manager in North Woodstock for an Experimental Forest Tour.\n\nVisit Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest (HBEF) to learn more about the extensive history of forest ecosystem research that has been conducted continuously since 1955\, making HBEF one of the longest running and most comprehensive ecosystem studies in the entire world.\n\nLearn about how the combination of long term monitoring and ecological experiments helps us build fundamental understanding of forest ecosystems. On this tour we will discuss various topics\, including: how forests are monitored and measured\, ongoing research themes and experiments\, climate trends and threats\, and the value of forests for human society.\n\nSpace is limited to 16 people.\nCost: $10 NHEE Members and $15 Not Yet Members\n\n\nRegistration Required. Registration closes September 30th. Use the link below to register.
