Impacts of the Government Shutdown at Hubbard Brook

As a Forest Service site, the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest is among the sites currently being affected by the government shutdown. Forest Service employees are either unable to work or working without pay, and research by cooperating scientists from institutions around the country has been stymied.

The Hubbard Brook Research Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Hubbard Brook community, is working alongside the cooperating scientists to ensure the safe, continuous collection of vital long-term data during this crisis. For more information, contact alavallee@hubbardbrookfoundation.org
