  • Research Interests and Activities:
    William H. McDowell has worked at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest since 1977. His research interests include the biogeochemistry of streams and forests; he is particularly interested in dissolved organic carbon and nitrogen. His most recent work at Hubbard Brook includes a study of real-time stream chemistry at Watershed 3.
